ABOUT GREENHORNS
BAHA's Greenhorn Adult Beginner League is designed specifically for adults who have little to no hockey or skating experience but want to try the sport.
The Greenhorn league is the best and easiest way to enter into the hockey world. We welcome everyone (18+) - no experience necessary.
Greenhorn players receive skills sessions to help hone abilities, and teach the game for the eventual segue-way to the HHL (Haynes Hockey League).
The Fall Season of Greenhorns will begin in October and go through to December. The Winter Season begins in January and goes through to March. All practices will be held on Monday evenings.

GEAR NEEDED FOR GREENHORNS
We require that all Greenhorn level players have full hockey equipment, to prevent any major/minor injuries on the ice. Hockey equipment can be purchased at Play It Again Sports or Top Shelf. Equipment needed:
- Hockey Skates
- Shin Guards
- Hockey Socks
- Jock or Jill
- Hockey Pants/Breezers
- Shoulder Pads
- Elbow Pads
- Hockey Gloves
- Helmet (with cage or visor)
- Hockey Stick
