With the exponential growth of ice sports in the area, there was a clear need for a second sheet of ice in Bozeman. In 2017 the Ice Barn was built, in the same building as the Haynes Pavilion, to accommodate those needs.
The Ressler Motors Ice Rink is located inside the Ice Barn. Ressler Motors purchased the naming rights to the rink in 2017.
